A massive demonstration in the proximities of the US Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon, was organized by the Lebanese Committee of Solidarity with the Cuban Five to demand that President Barack Obama release the five Cubans imprisoned in US jails for fighting terrorism.

The rally was attended by more than a hundred Lebanese and young representatives of several Arab countries. They delivered copies of the petition to their embassy and the press, demanding the release of the Five.
