Attacks in Modern History
The atom bombs launched on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima
and Nagasaki were, quite simply, coldly calculated acts of
terrorism, when the Second World War was strategically over,
Italy and Germany had surrendered and Japan only a few weeks
to surrender.

Simón Bolívar: The
Spirals of History
Bolivar was born on July 24, 1783. He joined the Patriotic
Society, a movement designed to strengthen and consolidate
the first fleeting Venezuelan independence, in 1811, when
his political and revolutionary thought already had
impressive maturity and clarity.

José Maceo, an
Excellent Soldier of our Homeland
On the occasion of the death in combat of Major General José
Maceo, the Generalissimo Máximo Gómez wrote a letter to his
wife Bernarda Gómez Toro, in which he extols the great
warrior, companion and friend who died at his post of combat
for the freedom of his homeland.
