Cuban Foreign Minister Meets with Swazi Counterpart

Havana, Cuba, Nov 19, (RHC-acn) Bruno Rodríguez, Cuban Foreign Affairs Minister met this Thursday with his Swazi counterpart a Lutfo Ephraim Shiyinsimbi Dlamini, who is in Cuba in an official visit.

I am convinced that this visit will give an additional boost to our excellent bilateral relations, said Rodriguez in the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in this capital, where delegations from the two countries participated in official talks.

The Cuban FM thanked the African country for its reiterated samples of solidarity with Cuba, both at the Non-Aligned Movement and at international forums where the US blockade against Cuba has been condemned.

Meanwhile, Shiyinsimbi Dlamini said that his country will keep its unconditional and permanent support against the US economic war against Cuba, for as long as the unjust policy remains in force.

He also thanked the Cuban government for its cooperation in the health and education sectors, which started in June 2005.

Up to last year, 85 Cuban collaborators gave their services in this African nation, while 16 are currently doing it through the Comprehensive Health Program, in force in 19 countries, that was implemented in 1998 after the hurricanes George and Mitch battered the Caribbean and Central America.
