Delegation from Mexico’s Labor Party Visited Cuba

Havana, Oct 2, (RHC-ACN).- A delegation from the Labor Party (PT) of Mexico visited Cuba at the invitation of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC).

The group was headed by Alberto Anaya Gutierrez, national
coordinator of this political organization and senator of the Mexican
republic, who was accompanied by national executives of the PT, Granma newspaper reports.

The visitors met with the president of the Cuban National Assembly
(Parliament), Ricardo Alarcon, and with Public Health Minister Jose R.
Balaguer Cabrera, both members of the PCC’s Politburo.

They also met with Jorge Marti Martinez, head of the Department of
Foreign Relations at the PCC’s Central Committee and with other party, state and government leaders.
