LA PAZ.- The party
of President Evo Morales, the Movement to
Socialism (MAS), is the electoral preference for
the municipal elections next April 4, in which
they could win six of the nine departments that
are being disputed in that country.
The poll
indicates that the left party enjoys support in
the departments in the east: La Paz, Oruro and
Potosí; in the center: Cochabamba and
Chuquisaca, and in the northern and former
opposition bastion: Pando.
While the
opposition continues dominating the preference
in the regions of Beni and Santa Cruz, reports

consulted 2,940 people in the nine departments,
between February 20 and March 2 the 2010.
