Zelaya-Micheletti Dialogue Resumed

Tegucigalpa, Nov 7, (PL).- Representatives of Honduras Constitutional President Manuel Zelaya and the de facto government resumed Saturday negotiations to solve the crisis the country is in since the June 28 coup d'état.

According to La Prensa Grafica newspaper, the parties will discuss once more an accord signed last October 30 that call for submitting to the National Congress the restitution of the legitimate president and the creation of a unity cabinet.

That pact was violated when de facto President Roberto Micheletti announced last Thursday the integration of a government without a single member named by Zelaya.

The Honduran constitutional president denounced the coup regime failed to fulfill its commitments of reinstating him in power.

This is the worst political crisis in decades in Honduras. It broke out over four months ago with the coup that did away with the Central American country's constitutional order.
