www.periodico26.cu is the 24-hours-7-days-a-week online edition of the weekly 26 newspaper – Las Tunas province’s  local newspaper.

Founded on March 15th, 2000, our Web site has aimed at making  Cuba and Las Tunas´s reality known on the Internet.

The texts appear both in Spanish and English and they are accessed and read daily , on the average, in  82 countries by over a thousand Internet users.

Our staff is made up twelve reporters specialized in different topic areas, most of which have a longtime experience in the practice of journalism.

We also publish wire services released by  Prensa Latina and the AIN news agency, as well as collaborations from local, national, and foreign intellectuals who are identified with the just cause of  the Cuban people.
