Multimedia Ideas brings together young and consacrated journalists.

The President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, inaugurated today the new headquarters of Ideas Multimedios (Multimedia Ideas), an entity that brings together various media and audiovisual programs in the country.

Havana, Cuba.- The Round Table program, the “Fidel Soldado de las Ideas” website, the Cubadebate portal, the “Con Filo” and “Cuadrando la Caja” programs, among other projects led by journalist Randy Alonso, are located in this new and modern headquarters, located in the municipality of Playa.

The president, accompanied by the organization secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, Roberto Morales, and directors of the Institute of Information and Social Communication, toured the institution, born from an innovation project that places Multimedia Ideas at the forefront of the press in the Caribbean nation.

The Presidency of the Republic detailed in its Twitter account that several companies, both state and private sector, were recognized at the inauguration, which helped to create the new headquarters.

Díaz-Canel also learned about the project to generate energy there through solar panels.

Multimedia Ideas comprises a team of young professionals and renowned journalists from the Cuban press, whose work was praised by the president of the Caribbean nation. (PL)
