Diaz-Canel held talks with his Angolan counterpart

The President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, and his Angolan counterpart, João Lourenço, are holding official talks and reviewing bilateral relations, marked by deep friendship and solidarity.

Luanda.- The Cuban president is accompanied by a delegation made up of ministers, vice ministers, and representatives of several organizations to hold talks with their local counterparts to strengthen cooperation in fields of common interest.

Several agreements and memorandums of understanding are expected to be signed during the meeting, which give continuity to the guidelines established by the intergovernmental commission, whose fifteenth session took place last April in Havana.

Díaz-Canel held a conversation with a representation of more than 200 Cuban collaborators in Angola on Sunday and said Cuba is interested in strengthening bilateral exchange in the field of science and innovation.
