At the launching ceremony, Do Van Chien, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, emphasized that this action shows the Vietnamese people’s tradition of humanity and the deep friendship between the Vietnamese and Cuban peoples.

The program not only seeks to provide material support to overcome the immediate difficulties Cuba is facing, but also to powerfully spread a message of empathy and international solidarity, Van Chien noted, reiterating that, under any circumstances, the Vietnamese people always stand by the Cuban people.

This is a traditional connection of affection that spans 65 years and in which “brotherly affection has overcome all geographical distances and economic conditions to become an enduring spiritual value,” Van Chien emphasized.

In a message released through the national multiplatform instant messaging service Zalo, Hai Anh emphasized that “these noble gestures not only have material value, but also radiate spiritual value, helping to foster the immortal symbol of Vietnam-Cuba solidarity in all circumstances.” (PL)
