Over its 15 editions, the International Festival Varadero Gourmet, held at the Plaza América Convention Center in Cuba's most famous resort, has focused on improving quality in the restaurant industry.
Havana, Cuba.- According to Plaza América director Zulema Afá Tomlinson, Varadero Gourmet 2025―scheduled to take place on September 11-13―will seek to get closer to fusion cuisine in the archipelago and noted the convergence of Spanish, Chinese, and Caribbean culture in Cuban gastronomy.
“This year, the event will feature more than 30 exhibitors and its traditional contests and activities, as well as the 1st International Franchise Workshop”, she pointed out.
The 15th International Festival Varadero Gourmet, themed "Flavors without Borders: The Magic of Fusion Cuisine with a Cuban Soul", will promote the academic development of industry professionals based on the fusion of foreign and Cuban culinary heritage, contribute to the exchange of experiences and knowledge between entrepreneurs and professionals, and pave the way for alliances between tourism suppliers and exhibitors as a function of service quality and sustainability.
