
Cuba's authorities and people pay posthumous tribute to Ricardo Cabrisas, who passed away on Tuesday, and was the country's deputy prime minister, according to an official announcement released by local media.
Havana, Cuba.- The official statement specifies that the posthumous tribute is held at the headquarters of the Council of Ministers, where he spent much of his life working.
According to the release, “comrade Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba, with an outstanding career at the service of the Revolution,” passed away on Tuesday afternoon in this capital.
Born on January 21, 1937, in Havana, Cabrisas graduated as a Bachelor of Science from the Foreign Trade School and also studied Political Science, the text adds.
“He was a member of the Party’s Central Committee and a lawmaker to the National People’s Power Assembly,” the document emphasizes, and affirmed, “The Revolution has lost a figure whose loyalty, knowledge, and ability earned him the respect and trust to entrust him with high responsibilities.” (PL)
