Army General Raúl Castro Ruz received the Minister of the Interior of the Russian Federation, Police General Vladimir Alexandrovich Kolokoltsev, on Tuesday afternoon.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on the excellent bilateral relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Cuba, as well as shared ongoing willingness to strengthen them. In this context, Army General Raúl Castro conveyed warm greetings to President Vladimir Putin.

Also participating on the distinguished visitor's side were Viktor Koronelli, Ambassador of Russia to Cuba, and other members of the accompanying delegation. On the Cuban side, attendees included Political Bureau member and Minister of the Interior, Corps General Lázaro Alberto Álvarez Casas, accompanied by other senior officials. (CubaSí)
