61st anniversary of the Ministry of the InteriorCuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez congratulated the members of the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) on the occasion of its 61st anniversary.

Havana, Cuba.- To the chiefs, officers, and combatants of the MININT, happy anniversary. Your strength is the strength of the people and is the guarantee of peace and citizen tranquility. I embrace you," the president wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) and the Federation of Cuban Women also congratulated their members.

In a letter, the head of the FAR, Army Corps General Álvaro López Miera, highlighted the contribution of MININT men and women in safeguarding the conquests achieved by the country after centuries of struggle.

He also highlighted the high professionalism with which its members serve the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), the Government, the State, and the people.

For her part, Teresa Amarelle, secretary-general of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC), emphasized the example of the commitment of the members of the uniformed people in the battles in defense of the Revolution.

In an exchange of experiences with young people from the FAR and the MININT, Amarelle stressed the need to continue learning from the experiences of each institution "as a guarantee of success in confronting the war that is waged against us in all areas."

Other Cuban institutions, such as the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic, joined in recognition of this force in charge of guaranteeing legality, peace, and internal order. (RHC)
