Teatro Tuyo prepares new proposals

While the students of the National Clown School make their first public appearances and bet on finding their inner clown, the company Teatro Tuyo is working on the staging of its next premiere, Clowncierto, a true celebration of this performing arts genre.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- "This cooking smells very good," the group posted on its official Facebook profile, to which the actor and director of Teatro Tuyo, Ernesto Parra Borroto, replied that Clowncierto is much more than a staging, it is a musical, theatrical, dance, clownish party.

The troupe of "Los Tuyos", which recently reached its 24th anniversary, harvests among its triumphs the materialization of the National School of Clown as a dream come true between the artistic education in the territory and this consecrated group, reason enough for the first presentation of the students who today receive their training to be a reason for the collective to rejoice.

Belonging to the first year of the second edition of aspiring red-nosed professionals, they performed for the members of Teatro Tuyo, another of the good fruits of the company.

After the presentation, Parra Borroto described the exercise as a profitable exchange of impressions, suggestions, and timely feedback. He also said it was beautiful and gratifying to see on stage how they are growing and finding their clown.

The appearance of La casa de Papote (Papote's House) in the children's section of Buenos días TV magazine is also a reason for recognition for the artistic unit that has been in charge of dignifying the art of clowning from its homeland, with the creation of shows that speak to the whole family about valuable lessons of companionship, humility, love, simplicity, and patriotism.

Likewise, a theoretical space with Alberto Carlos Estrada Segura, a specialist in the performing arts and main biographer of the company, welcomes clown students themselves, their protagonists, and other exponents of the territory to discuss the current challenges of the art of clowning.
