Nearly 1,000 delegates from 15 countries will participate in Havana from Oct 17 to 19 at the International Law Congress 2018, reported the National Organization of Collective Law Firms (ONBC), the entity sponsoring the event.

Havana, Cuba.- According to the president of ONBC and the organizing committee, Ariel Mantecón, the event will be attended by business advisers, about 100 foreign delegates (preliminary figure) and lawyers from the organization itself, whose presentations have competed at previous levels until reaching the congress.

Among the topics to be debated and analyzed -he said- are those related to foreign investment in Cuba, international economic and mercantile relations, and constitutional issues, although the event provides spaces for conflicts in all branches of law.

For the 8th edition of the congress the presentations were organized in six working commissions: Conflicts of civil, family and administrative law; Criminal and criminologist conflicts; Economic, mercantile and financial conflicts; Law, legal thought and ethical and professional projection; Conflicts of right to work; and Conflicts of agrarian and environmental law.
