Celebrations for May Day continue

The tributes to outstanding workplaces and professionals from different spheres continue in Cuba this Thursday in the context of celebrating International Workers' Day on May 1st.

Havana, Cuba.- President Miguel Díaz-Canel highlighted on Wednesday the changes for this year’s May Day celebration due to the complex economic situation the country is facing, especially in fuel supplies.

“Instead of the great workers’ parade, many voices in more places,” the head of State wrote on his Twitter account.

Awards to outstanding workers, international meetings, celebrations in labor and student centers, and revolutionary reaffirmation rallies, among other initiatives, are part of the activities to celebrate International Workers’ Day in Cuba.

The mobilization of International Workers’ Day on May 1st. will be simultaneously celebrated on social media with a tweet under the hashtags #Alapatriamanosycorazón and #1Mayo. (PL)
