General Army Raúl Castro and President Díaz-Canel attend Parliament session

The leader of the Cuban Revolution, Raúl Castro; and president, Miguel Díaz-Canel, are attending today the First Regular Session of the National People's Power Assembly of (NAPP) in its X Legislature.

Havana, Cuba.- On this day the members of the Parliament will analyze the bill of the Military Criminal Code, which aims to protect the rights and guarantees endorsed in the Constitution of the Republic, in the provision of military service.

During this period of sessions, which will be held until next Saturday at the Convention Center, the enforcement of the Law on Food Sovereignty and Food and Nutrition Security will be examined, as well as the Comprehensive Policy for Child and Youth Care, the measures adopted to control prices and the current situation of the energy system.

Also, they will review compliance results with the general directives to deal with crime, illegalities, and social disorders.

Likewise, they will analyze the Draft Agreement that regulates the link of the deputies with the voters of the territory where they were elected and the economy's behavior in the first semester of 2023. (PL)
