Havana, Cuba.- A press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out that during the cordial meeting both parties noted the excellent state of bilateral relations, marked by the existence of political dialogue at the highest level, and expressed the mutual will to continue strengthening political-diplomatic, economic, commercial, cultural and cooperation ties.
In addition, they discussed various current issues, which highlighted the convergence of positions on the various and complex issues on the international and regional agendas.
The distinguished visitor was accompanied by Andrey A. Guskov, ambassador of the Russian Federation in Cuba, and other members of his delegation.
On the Cuban side, Emilio Lozada García, Director General of Bilateral Affairs, Alba Soto Pimentel, Director of Europe and Canada, and other officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs participated.
