Havana, Cuba.- The Cuban-Saharan Arab People's Parliamentary Friendship Group has condemned today the unjust sentences imposed on the Gdeim Izik political prisoners.

In a statement, Cuban deputies asked for the release of the Saharawi citizens, who were subjected to a new criminal process after being unjustly condemned in 2010 by a military court.

The July 19, 2017's sentence proved that Morocco is still intending to continue disrespecting human rights in Western Sahara and unveiled Moroccan stance for the peace process in the area, they stressed. (PL)
