The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba (FAR) reaffirmed on Monday their support for the Government and people of the island in the face of destabilization attempts orchestrated by the United States.

Havana, Cuba.- On Twitter, that armed institution expressed "complete confidence in the capacity of the Cuban Revolution and its people to resist and defeat the assaults of the enemy."

"Comrade Díaz-Canel: the fighters of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, always on the side of this Revolution of the humble and for the humble. We will never surrender the conquests we have achieved. At your orders," he wrote on the social network.

The FAR also pointed out that its combatants are not willing to surrender the Revolution's work, sovereignty, and achievements.

President Miguel Díaz-Canel denounced the increase of a campaign in social networks that seeks to create opinion matrixes to discredit the efforts made by the Revolution to guarantee the health and life of the people.

In this regard, he referred to the protests carried out last Sunday by groups of people in several cities. He said they intend to justify the need for humanitarian intervention. (RHC)
