Seoul.- Kang plans to review cooperation projects between Seoul and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), told spokesman Noh Kyu-duk in a press conference.
The spokesperson considered that there will also be opportunities for talks between the minister and Cuban officials.
The official opening ceremony of the event will be headed by Alicia Bárcena, Executive Secretary of ECLAC, and Luis Videgaray, Mexico Foreign Affairs Secretary, a country that currently holds the presidency of the Commission.
It is also expected the participation of a high representative of the Government of Cuba, a nation that will assume the of ECLAC presidency for the next two years.
The meeting will bring together representatives of the 46 member countries and 13 partners, and will involve more than 25 ministers, deputy ministers and other high-ranking officials. (PL)
