Havana, Cuba.- According to the schedule, in plenary session the participants will deepen the way the oncological lesions affect the optical system of our organism.
The agenda contains the following issues:Visual health available for anyone, has two master conferences: Updating of the anatomopathological diagnosis of the basal carcinoma and the micrographic technique of Mohs in skin malignant tumors.
They will also deepen in a no less important issue: Vascular neurosurgery in ophthalmology pathologies.
The experts will try trough the symposiums the eyes socket tumor pathology, the use of Heberferon in basal carcinoma as well as a novel strategy for treating the aged-related macular generation (AMD or ARMD).
Before the event, prestigious academicians taught several pre congress courses at the Hermanos Ameijeiras Hospital and at the Cuban Ophthalmology Institute Ramón Pando Ferrer.
These meetings allowed the participants to deepen in issues like child cataract, visual health and primary care; nursery attention in the specialty, live operation and progress and future of the tissues and cells bank.
The scientific program of Ophthalmology 2018 includes also electronic posters modalities as well as video-conferences. (PL)
