The volume of short stories Todas las bestias de la Tierra (All the beasts of the Earth), by Yailén Delgado Calvo, from Matanzas, won the Portus Patris Literary Prize, sponsored by the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS) of the province of Las Tunas.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The jury decided to select this book for the mastery of the author's narrative technique, the effective characterization of the characters, and above all, for the great psychological burden of her arguments.

David Martínez Balsa, from Havana, received a Mention at the “Portus Patris,” which in this 27 edition, was dedicated to the 225th anniversary of Las Tunas city celebrated yesterday, September 30.

Also dedicated to the city's birthday, they presented the tribute album Es mi ciudad, la quiero así (It's my city, I love it like this), with 10 songs and the production of the renowned musicians Osmar Briñones Égard and Yúnior Larrea Medina.
