El Nido youth cultural project

Singing, dancing, and acting workshops are part of the proposals of "El Nido" (The Nest), a new project in the form of a cultural laboratory that stars the youth artistic avant-garde of Las Tunas.

El Nido youth cultural projectLas Tunas, Cuba.- Giving creative workshops is one of the objectives of the project, as reported on the official website of "The Nest," a cultural laboratory; an initiative that brings together creators from all artistic expressions and communication.

Besides, the premise is to bring to the non-traditional communities and spaces of the city everything that the young artistic avant-garde of the territory does so that there are no barriers between creators and their audiences, as diverse as the society in which they exist.

Among the members of "The Nest," most of them affiliates of the Hermanos Saíz Association, the talented and versatile actress Leonor Pérez Hinojosa stands out, who defends her Matarile Children's Project; Daniel Velázquez, the teacher Iraida Williams and other newcomers, such as Marcell Antonio, represent the trova.

Writers and Social Communication professionals are also part of the initiative, which in its short life has already left a cultural mark on the Ernesto Guevara de la Serna General Teaching Hospital, the Mártires de Las Tunas Pediatric Hospital, and the community of Blanca Rosa, municipality of Majibacoa.

Sharing good art and giving the people tools to grow from culture and knowledge is the compass of this group of young artists, an expression of how youth contribute to the future of the country.
