2nd Las Tunas Industry and Commerce Fair 2022

With less breadth than the previous year and looking for the certainties of success in business opportunities between local businessmen and their foreign counterparts, the Industry and Commerce Fair of this eastern Cuban province opened its doors on Tuesday at the Theme Park.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The event closes a year when the creativity of the companies here was put to the test in the face of shortages of raw materials and energy, as a result of the impact on the Cuban economy of the tightening of the U.S. blockade and the international crisis following the COVID-19 pandemic and the armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Despite this scenario, in his opening remarks, governor Jaime Chiang Vega highlighted that -at this Fair- "we can show our people the range of products we produce to develop our territory, both economically and socially."
