Las Tunas, Cuba.- Ada Alicia Duarte Ávila, general specialist of Computer Sciences in the Provincial Directorate of the Youth Club, told the local Radio Victoria station that, in this province, "we started this work in 2021, with the SCRATCH program, which serves as a base to venture into the world of robotics.

In this program, the municipalities of Jobabo and Manatí have stood out with 65 graduates in the last two years.”
In the same way, Duarte Ávila added, the courses of Introduction to Robotics for Children are developed in the municipalities of Las Tunas and Majibacoa, with 44 graduates so far.

Also, an instructor teaches basic knowledge of this branch of computing sciences in different educational centers in the province, as another initiative to promote its development.

Educational Robotics, or Pedagogical, -as is also called- is a discipline designed for students to start at a very early age in robotics and interactive programming.
