Las Tunas Provincial Popular Court

Just a few hours after the September inauguration of the school year, the Provincial Popular Court welcomed young people embarking on the paths of Law, as its status as a teaching center of the University of Las Tunas (ULT) warrants.

The Las Tunas Popular Court welcomed students at the start of the 2025-2026 school year.Las Tunas, Cuba.- Elvia Laritza Cruz Hernández, president of this judicial institution in the territory, expressed the joy with which they welcome students and graduates. She emphasized the commitment this represents, as within the facility, they will have a classroom for teaching all the subjects established in the curriculum of the Technical Degree in Judicial Law.

“The teachers will be the judges of our courts themselves; they will be responsible for explaining each of the laws that underpin the Cuban judicial system and for properly teaching those who will soon be our secretaries.

“We guarantee support to anyone who wishes to continue their professional improvement after completing this level up to a Bachelor's Degree in Law at the ULT. We have professionals who began as judicial assistants and, thanks to their dedication and improvement, are now judges in the Cuban court system."

The Las Tunas Provincial Popular Court thus participates in the training of its own staff, from whom commitment and responsibility are expected.
