Las tinas Provincial Justice Directorate

“Providing quality service is our main mission,” said Oscar Manuel Silvera Martínez, Cuban Minister of Justice, who accompanied the workers of the Provincial Justice Directorate (DPJ in Spanish) in Las Tunas, together with the highest authorities of the province, to declare this entity fully digitized.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- This eastern province is the eighth in the country to have all its records digitized. What does this mean? It means that now the population can carry out their procedures more quickly and request documentation from other territories.

“Las Tunas has a duty to be at the forefront of all the tasks assigned to us, and that is our greatest commitment at this time. The efforts made by each of the workers allow us to declare Las Tunas and its civil registries a digitized territory,” concluded Silvera Martínez.

Currently, the DPJ has 16 specific functions, in addition to legislative activity, which is responsible for drafting bills. They have the duty of enforcing and explaining each of the regulations that govern us, from legal advice to law enforcement.

The meeting was an opportunity to recognize the workers who were directly involved in the activity, young people who demonstrated their worth and knowledge to achieve a quality result.
