The Provincial Popular Court in Las Tunas suspended all judicial issues.

The Governing Council of the Supreme Popular Court of Cuba, exercising the powers conferred upon it by Law No. 140 of October 28, 2021, "On the Courts of Justice," agreed to suspend judicial proceedings and terms in all matters under the jurisdiction of the courts in provinces affected by Hurricane Melissa.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The Las Tunas Provincial Popular Court, as part of the safeguarding measures in anticipation of the imminent arrival of the meteorological event, halted its judicial work until conditions are favorable for its reestablishment, also taking into account that the deteriorating weather would prevent people from accessing this court.

The institution, like the rest of the province's agencies, fulfilled its duties to safeguard state property, as well as its pertinent concern for the well-being of its workers and families.
