Copextel's Energy brigades guarantee expert installation.

A national program is being implemented in Las Tunas to incentivize workers in priority sectors such as Education and Health, as well as four Heroes of Labor of the Republic of Cuba. The program includes the sale of 584 photovoltaic solar systems allocated to the province, to be installed gradually under a sales scheme managed by the Copextel Las Tunas branch.

Las Tunas, Cuba.– Ailín Yaneisy Rodríguez Castillo, the company's commercial manager, told 26 that "The process begins once Copextel receives the official lists of beneficiaries from the governing bodies. The sale is processed individually and directly at our branch, and any available payment platform can be used to purchase these modules."

Since the total cost might be too expensive for some, Copextel's Commercial Management has established a credit mechanism. “If the person doesn't have the full amount, they are granted financing.”

“For this, the company provides a pre-invoice, and the applicant must present two co-signers. Once the loan is approved, the amount is deposited onto the client's card, and they must return to our offices to finalize the payment,” Rodríguez Castillo stated.

The solar panels have a one-year warranty and are installed by Copextel's own Energy brigades, guaranteeing expert installation.

According to Maritza González Llorente, director of the National Office for the Rational Use of Energy (ONURE), the province is responsible for ensuring that each beneficiary receives their equipment, as these are exemplary managers and employees of the prioritized organizations, as well as Labor Heroes. Follow-up includes verifying the families' level of satisfaction with these systems, which benefit them.

“The program is implemented in all municipalities, and each department of the participating organizations must ensure its compliance. The equipment is purchased through bank loans, with payment plans offered by BANDEC, although two co-signers are required as part of the established conditions.”

“If a worker cannot access the loan, the opportunity is given to another client who meets the requirements, thus guaranteeing the financing.”

“The solar systems are offered in two models, 800W and 1200W kits, with different prices. Distribution depends on each organization, which decides which worker receives which model. Although the equipment must be paid for, it is considered an incentive for the beneficiary families, as it ensures access to electricity in their homes.”

Ronny Esnaider Delgado Cabrera, Director of Professional Training at the University of Las Tunas, is one of the beneficiaries and highlighted that his 1200-watt panel has been operational since December 11.

"Having this system represents an important step towards the use of renewable energy, contributes to energy savings, and allows for greater stability in the electricity supply, especially during periods of high demand."

"Among the main benefits are the reduction in consumption from the electrical grid, the use of a clean and sustainable source, the optimization of institutional resources, and the positive impact on both the economic and environmental levels." He also emphasized that the panel facilitates many of the processes carried out at the university itself.

This program recognizes the efforts of outstanding workers in essential sectors, providing them with a sustainable energy solution that, in addition to improving their living conditions, reinforces their motivation to continue performing their daily work.
