Happiness filled the Las Tunas’ Home for Children without Parental Care this Monday, where the "For Those Who Deserve Love" project, in coordination with the Youth Communist League (UJC), brought joy to the youngest residents.
Las Tunas, Cuba.– The activity, part of the initiatives promoted by both organizations to commemorate the UJC's 64th anniversary and the 65th anniversary of the José Martí Pioneer Organization (OPJM), featured clowns and professional musicians. Various cultural performances were also presented, including musical acts, participatory games, and other activities that fostered integration and collective enjoyment.

According to Maité Escobar Rivero, a member of the UJC provincial bureau and president of the OPJM, this initiative reflects the systematic organization's work, which brings together young people to bring joy to children without family care and pediatric wards. “The purpose of the visit is to spend time with them, enjoy a pleasant moment, and also to celebrate the foundational date of April 4th.”
These homes, which welcome, protect, and lovingly care for these children, continue to be a meeting point where institutional support meets the efforts of local youth and artists, guaranteeing a smile on every child’s face.
