La Rotonda gourmet parador

After months of a complex epidemiological situation due to the COVID-19, the Palmares extra-hotel branch in the province of Las Tunas resumed serving the table from Monday, October 4, in some of its units.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Of the 23 facilities of its kind in the territory, the Parador La Rotonda and the restaurant La Bodeguita return to this modality. It was suspended months ago as part of the measures implemented by the Temporary Working Group for the prevention and control of the new coronavirus in the province, to stop the progressive spread of SARS-CoV-2.

The La Terraza bar-cafeteria, near the city’s train station, joins both sites in this gradual reopening, where the stay and customer service will also be accepted at the premises.

The rest of the establishments continue to offer the take-home modality, according to the current sanitary provisions.

Jorge Luis Parra Rodríguez, the director of Palmares, announced that the opening of nightclubs, such as the “Luanda,” in the provincial capital, is not yet authorized. He also pointed out that the units of the municipality of Puerto Padre continue to limit services, as restrictive measures are adopted there to face the rise in positive cases for COVID-19.
