Las Tunas, Cuba.- Alás, who is also considered one of the most accredited voices in local and national architecture since the last century, said in exclusive interview for 26Digital, that "this anti-gravity facility is presumably the largest in the world, and we want to include a group of elements, so that people find an incentive to go there; although those that it has now are not found in any other."
He also pointed out that the idea responds to the intention that the House does not lose motivation for both, the local and foreign public, under the concept of being able to remove and add devices that increase its attractions and satisfy the visitors.
"Among other ideas, we plan to make a hydrostatic scale, which is the device that Archimedes used to determine the volume and weight of the king's crown and prove that it was made of gold. People can manipulate it; put it in the water, with the surprise that inside the house its operation is unusual."
"We think making other types of ramps that rise waves under its own weight. We also want restoring a cylinder, which has not worked because the wood with which it was made lost the water. It will be suspended from the roof; moreover, we will put rockers, which will move in a completely anomalous way."
Domingo Alás hopes that the cultural institution will take more value with the installation of the new equipment. Besides, he assured that "it is a great pleasure to continue projecting this, we already have some drawings of what we can do and as soon as the project is contracted, we will try to execute it."
He indicated that the required resources are minimal and all this work could be ready for the summer stage, depending on the priorities of the agencies in charge of executing the devices. Nevertheless, he does not think they will have them by that date, but he does consider that they will be made this year, because they have already been managed the project, although there has not been a specific execution time.
The respected architect from Las Tunas announced that there are other projects, which will surprise the population because they are much more interesting than the Unusual House.
