Three of the sugar mills that will be into operation in Las Tunas during the 2018/19 sugar harvest have begun the schedule of repairs, after the successful implementation of the 52 Technical Standard-cleaning, disarmament, diagnosis and conservation of equipment.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The next harvest should start here in November for the "Majibacoa" and the "Antonio Guiteras".
The workers of these mills and those of "Amancio Rodríguez" are already repairing the machinery, while the collective of "Colombia" will join the process as soon as the implementation of the 52 technical Standard ends and the approval of the provincial officials is received.
To start up the milling as early as November is a colossal challenge for the sugar workers from the north and center of the province, especially when they have ahead July and August, the most coveted stage for Cubans to take a deserved rest.
I is up to the Union and the Administration in each factory to reflect with all the workers, so that they remain in their posts during the vacation time or part of it.
The Amancio Rodríguez sugar mill will start the harvest in December if there are no changes in the schedule, while "Colombia" will begin in January.
