Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Zhaparov met with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin

Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Zhaparov met with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, at the Ala Archa State Residence in Bishkek before holding the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Summit in that capital.

Bishkek.- According to the press office of the Kyrgyz presidency, Zhaparov and Putin will first hold negotiations with the participation of delegations; next, they will sign bilateral documents, and then, they will make statements to the media.

The two presidents expect to attend a gala to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Russia’s Kant military airbase in Kyrgyzstan. Meanwhile, Putin awarded Zhabarov the Order of Honor for his significant contribution to strengthening partnership relations and the strategic alliance between the two countries. (PL)
