Las Tunas, Cuba.- It was a peaceful moment, with little sun, some breeze, pigeons in the wind and an important representation of the children and young people of this city.
Creators such as Leonardo Fuentes, Vladimir Santiago, Luisán Cabrera and Antonio Medina came together to give color to a canvas that speaks of the life of a man turned into history, his relevance and his Revolution.
The little ones sang, painted in a corner of the Vicente García Park and put their fingerprint on the paper, always with the left hand, the guerrilla's hand, the heart hand.
They listened to the Cuban traditional music, the poem from the soul and the campesina tune, a music genre especially rooted in this Cuban region, while some preferred to play chess at the street, as part of a giant simultaneous match, and others bet to search for among the books that were sold in the corners.
The activity included the presentation of the texts El Profeta de la Aurora (The Dawn's Prophet), by Odalys Leyva and Buenos días Fidel (Good morning Fidel), authored by Nicolás Guillén that returns to this land from the hand of the Foundation that promotes the creation of the Cuban National Poet.
