InTalsur is born in strategic alliance with UruCuba, an Uruguayan entity

Thanks to the initiative, teamwork, and the search for strategies to achieve the diversification of the productions needed by the population of Las Tunas, InTalsur is born in the province, a subsidiary of the provincial company of the Food Industry whose immediate projection is to become the first local subordinate entity with foreign capital in the country.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The recently constituted company will be dedicated to international electronic commerce and will be in charge of subscribing to the International Economic Association shortly to incorporate new assets and revitalize the horizons of the local company.

Alberto Fonseca, director of the Food Industry Company in the territory, commented to the press that the subsidiary will have two fundamental moments, the first is focused on achieving international e-commerce, which will make it possible to oxygenate the entity from the financial point of view.

Subsequently, the focus will be on the acquisition of raw materials and other inputs that will guarantee the diversification and stability of productions that will be commercialized through the electronic platform, manufactured, and elaborated by the tunneling structures.

The executive said that this partnership is a real challenge because it is a pioneer in the country and will require the competence and support of other institutions at the provincial level.

Salvador Sariol Vistorte, director of the Directorate of Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation of the Provincial Government emphasized that this subsidiary company will operate through a one hundred percent Cuban e-commerce platform, being the third of its kind in the province, which allows the profits of its management to stay in the country.

Businessman Osmany Cortés Hernández, with vast experience in the sector, will head the work team on the Cuban side and will defend the same precepts of Alimentaria, to bring more and better food to the families of Las Tunas.

Under Decree Law 34 of the Cuban business system, dated April 29, 2021, in its article 25.1, the Alimentaria Sur Integral Subsidiary Group, in its abbreviated form: Intalsur, germinates, in strategic alliance with a foreign entity belonging to Uruguay (UruCuba in Spanish).
