Cuban Cyclists Victorious in Cali

The Cuban cyclists "devoured" the distance and led in over 10 seconds their Colombian counterparts on Monday in the battle for the Gold medal in the team persecution of the cycling tournament of the Central American and Caribbean Games underway in Colombia.

Cuba earned 13 gold medals on the fourth day of the competition program of the 23rd Central American and Caribbean Games based in the Colombian city of Barranquilla, main venue, and the co-hosts of Cali and Bogotá.

Cuban Angel Fournier shone again on the Calima Lake, in Cali city, when winning the gold medal in the men´s single sculls event of the rowing tournament of the 23rd Central American and Caribbean Games running until August 3 in three Colombian cities.
