The president of Colombia, Iván Duque, arrived Friday in the border city of Cucuta, where he and his counterparts Sebastian Piñera (Chile) and Mario Abdo (Paraguay) will develop an intense agenda focused on the onslaught against Venezuela.

Bogotá.- Sources from the Presidency confirmed in Bogotá that the three presidents will attend at 15:30, local time, the closing of the concert presented as ''Venezuela Aid Live'' at the Tienditas international bridge, one of the three border crossings between Cucuta and the neighboring country.

The three presidents will also visit the warehouses of Tienditas, where the alleged "humanitarian aid" for the Venezuelan people is stored and which sectors of the left in the hemisphere consider a farce aimed at generating a later military intervention in Venezuela.

It is even expected that the Colombian Head of State will attend Friday the reception of a shipment with the supposed collection sent in a C-17 plane from the United States, whose government leads the meddling crusade against the legitimate government of Nicolás Maduro.

From Tienditas, Saturday, the intention is to force the entry into Venezuelan territory of the cargo, an action that, according to the weekly Voz de Colombia, seeks to create a beachhead, which would start a fratricidal war.

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States, Luis Almagro, also traveled to Cúcuta, known for his interfering discourse and open alignment with the White House policies.

From the Colombian opposition, Green Alliance Senator Antonio Sanguino described the presence of congressmen from the ruling Democratic Center Party as nefarious at this Friday's show in Cúcuta.

Sanguino said that "the Colombian government is acting in the wrong way by encouraging confrontation and polarization, using humanitarian aid, which could lead to war."

For his part, the senator, former presidential candidate and leader of the Colombia Humana movement, Gustavo Petro, asked citizens "to mobilize to stop the war." (PL)
