Caracas.- For this edition, the meeting will focus its discussion on the attempts of the United States Government to undermine peoples' self-determination, informed the Vice President of International Affairs of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Adán Chávez.

"This forum has a peculiarity, because it occurs at a time of political and social situation, product of the attacks coming from Washington, in its attempted coup d'etat to overthrow the constitutional president, Nicolás Maduro," he explained at the meeting with the press.

The also ambassador of Venezuela to the Republic of Cuba, said the event will also be a timely space for the battle of ideas that allows peoples to face the imperialist attacks.

For the closure, the program provides a tribute to the commander and leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez, in the Cuartel de la Montaña, on occasion of the 65th anniversary of his birth. (PL)
