Beijing.- The pacts cover such sectors as trade, agriculture, tourism and other fields where the two parties plan to further boost collaboration.
The meeting, which was held in the city of Changsha, the capital of the central province of Hunan and concluded on Sunday, brought together experts, business people and officials from China and the African countries to review the best strategies to increase bilateral cooperation.
The event, attended by some 100,000 Chinese representatives, from 53 African nations and from international organizations, consisted of seminars, lectures, forums and an exhibition, according to the organizing committee.
The meeting was held under the auspices of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum and was aimed to further boost bilateral trade.
Official statistics show that trade between China and Africa exceeds 204 billion dollars, accounting for an interannual growth of 20 percent. (PL)
