Mexican Federal Police are insisting on Sunday on a four-day demonstration in pursue of a demand without listening to the deal made by the presidential government of Andrés López Obrador.

Mexico.- The central issue raised by the agents is their refusal to belong to the National Guard; something contradictory because the government insists that this decision is voluntary and they can choose other seven variables, ensuring they will not be dismissed and all will keep their job.

Mexican Federal Police have been considered for many years the most corrupted of its kind, and the President has repeatedly explained that this security corp. has been clouded for good and a fact to prove it is this protest action.

He also said that there is a black hand behind these demonstrations but he did not reveal anything about it although the press attributed it to former President Felipe Calderon, who is blamed for Mexican current violence since he started an irrational war against drug trafficking.

The truth is that this weekend negotiations with the Security Secretary finished without agreement and the hardening of positions on the side of the government and the Federal Police. (PL)
