As part of his five-day program, which ended yesterday, the Vietnamese leader met with top host authorities: his counterpart Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Li Keqiang, as well as the presidents of the National People's Congress, Zhang Dejiang, and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Yu Zhengsheng.
These meetings addressed issues related to the development of bilateral ties, including the Strategic Partnership for Comprehensive Cooperation and the international agenda.
Dai Quang also participated in economic-trade collaboration seminars in Beijing and Fujian Province with a view to further strengthening ties in these sectors.
A joint communiqué issued on the occasion of this visit emphasizes that both sides stressed the importance of building political trust and successfully controlling and solving disputes.
They also agreed to intensify collaboration in the diplomatic, defense and security sectors, among others, in addition to effectively implementing the cooperation agreement between the foreign ministries, signed during this visit.
According to the document, both sides will promote stable and sustainable cooperation in the economy, trade, investment, infrastructure, and finance sectors. (PL)
