Luanda.- The spokeswoman for the National Electoral Commission (CNE), Julia Ferreira, announced today that the body has the final results of 11 of the 18 Angolan provinces.

According to Ferreira, the CNE already has the final information of August 23 general elections of the territories of Luanda, Cuando Cubango, Cuanza Norte, Cabinda and Cuanza Sur, as well as those of Cunene, Moxico, Benguela, Bengo, Huíla And Zaire.

The spokeswoman offered the statements at the end of a plenary session of the CNE that evaluated the process of counting the votes of the fourth elections in the independent history of Angola.

The rest of the demarcations have until tomorrow to provide the results.

Three of the provinces that have already submitted the data to the CNE have not made them public: Benguela, Huíla and Cuando Cubango. While Namibe and Uige published it, but have not turned it over to the masters.

So far the final results have a high coincidence with the preliminaries published two days after the vote, on the 25th, by the National Electoral Commission.

The definitive results begin to break the opinion of several opponents leaders on a possible fraud in the elections in favor of the MPLA, the force that governs the country from its independence of Portugal, on November 11, 1975.

Asked about this, Unita's president, Florindo Evaristo, said he could not speak. (PL)
