Rescuers continue to look of five missing persons in the ruins of the Saratoga HotelAfter three days of hard work at the ruins of the Havana Saratoga Hotel, destroyed by a blast early last Friday, rescuers continue to look for five missing persons in the piled-up debris.

Havana, Cuba.- According to a daily government briefing led by the Cuban President there are 18 hospitalized victims of the blast, with six of them in critical conditions. Meanwhile, 40 persons died as a consequence of the accident.

As to infrastructure, 38 homes were affected with 22 households evacuated to state-run facilities. Some of the buildings affected by the explosion will be repaired, while another will be demolished and a new building raised to relocate families. (ACN)
