The president of the Central Bank of Nicaragua (BCN), Ovidio Reyes, stated that the 2025-2026 production and consumption plan consolidates a creative and entrepreneurial model focused on families, as it was reported.

Managua.- According to Informe Pastrán bulletin, which quotes statements by the BCN head in Channel 4's Revista En Vivo, the plan, prepared annually, guarantees food security and boosts exports in a context of climate and economic stability.

It also guides producers and entrepreneurs to optimize their investment and work decisions, promoting greater production, employment, and stability in the countryside.

The project is based on six main policies: food security, animal and plant health, promotion of entrepreneurship and local trade and exports, as well as science and technology, technical education, and protection against climate change.
