During the summit, issues related to nuclear technologies will be discussed.

The first-ever nuclear summit will be held on September 25 in Moscow, Alexey Likhachev, Director General of the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM, announced on Friday.

Moscow.- “President Vladimir Putin has given the go-ahead. The first atomic summit in human history will be held in Moscow on September 25,” Likhachev said in response to a press question about the program of events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of this nation’s nuclear industry.

During the summit, the President of the Russian Federation, several national leaders, and heads of State and government will discuss issues related to nuclear technologies, the ROSATOM chief also underscored.

We also look forward to this with the entire nuclear family. Despite the threats and storms generated by sanctions, we remain united. Even representatives of notoriously hostile countries such as the United States, France, and Germany continue to tell us that everything will dissipate now and everything will be fine, Likhachev concluded.
