Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York today.

United Nations.- During his stay in the city, the Russian minister has participated in multiple meetings with his counterparts from other countries, including a discussion with Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez, in which the parties reviewed the key aspects of the strategic partnership between Russia and Cuba.

On September 25, Lavrov attended the G20 Foreign Ministers’ meeting, and he is scheduled to address the Assembly on September 27. (CubaSí)
