President Miguel Díaz-Canel continues his work agenda in the Cuban capital.

Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and President of the Republic, visited the capital today to evaluate the status of the city's development strategies, continuing the work agenda in the province.

Accompanying the head of state were Liván Izquierdo Alonso, a member of the Central Committee and first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the PCC in Havana; Yanet Hernández Pérez, governor of the capital; among others.

On this occasion, the leader is assessing how the potential of the municipalities of Guanabacoa, Cotorro, and Playa has contributed to local and provincial growth during the period, as well as projections for 2026.

This tour also aims to inspect compliance with the directives established in the work meetings held by the country's leadership with Havana authorities for the improvement of the city. (CubaSí)
